Public Works Administrative Assistant 

​The Town of Pinedale has an immediate opening for a Public Works Administrative Assistant.

 

This is a full-time, year-round position.

The position requires a working knowledge of Town of Pinedale Ordinances and Resolutions related to building or developing within the Town.

Under the direction of the Director of Public Works (DPW) this is a position of high responsibility which assists the DPW in the activities of Planning and Zoning functions of the Town including but not limited to water and wastewater systems, streets and sidewalks, rights-of-way, parking, signage, permitting, and development.

 

In conjunction with the appointed Town Engineer, the Public Works Administrative Assistant (AAPW)

  • Manages the DPW calendar, setting appointments and scheduling meetings

  • Conducts meetings with the public to acquire information for the DPW

  • Tracks time spent on plan review and coordinates with both the Assistant Clerk and the Administrative Assistant to the Clerk

  • Enters information into the town’s accounting system

  • Issues small permits that require little review

  • Takes meeting minutes and prepare upcoming agendas

  • Maintains both paper and digital files
